Default Usage
To maximize privacy, Scott Conger Design does not collect any user entries from the app. All your entries are stored locally on your device.
Subscription Usage
There is an optional cloud sync subscription. This service allows you to edit your entries on multiple devices. If you subscribe, your entries will be stored in the cloud as well as locally on your device. Your login information, including your name and email, will also be stored in the cloud. You can unsubscribe at any time, and your entries will remain on the device on which you entered them. If you wish for your cloud data to be deleted, you can also email support.The database used is Google Firestore, which has its own privacy policy here.
AI Usage
For subscribers, there are optional AI features. This service allows you to ask the AI to improve your writing. If you use these features, your writing will be sent to the AI.The AI used is OpenAI, which has its own privacy policy here.
Analytics
The app may use Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance offered by Google's Firebase library, which has its own privacy policy here. The information gathered by these libraries is used to improve the app.
